There are plenty of classes to choose from in Fire Emblem Engage. Some you start with from the very beginning, while others only become available over time. One of these advanced classes is the Wolf Knight! But how do you unlock the Wolf Knight during your playthrough? Learn how with our Fire Emblem Engage Wolf Knight Guide.
How to Unlock the Wolf Knight in Fire Emblem Engage
As the name implies, the Wolf Knight in Fire Emblem Engage is a class that involves riding a giant white wolf into battle. This isn’t the sturdiest class, but you have to admit riding around on a wolf is pretty cool. Merrin is the only character that starts as a Wolf Knight; this class is unlocked once you recruit that character.
Necessary Proficiencies for Wolf Knight
Not any character can simply advance to a Wolf Knight. As an advanced class, only certain base classes can change into a Wolf Knight. As you might have guessed, this includes any character with the base class of sword, lance, or axe cavaliers. What you might not realize is that you can switch your weapon focus so long as you are proficient. In other words, your Axe Cavalier could change class to a Sword Wolf Night as long as you have proficiency in swords and knives.
You also need to meet the minimum prerequisite level in order to become a Wolf Knight. Specifically, you need to have ten levels as a sword, lance, or axe cavalier. Once you have all the requirements met, the process is fairly simple.
How to Change Class to Wolf Knight
In addition to skill and class requirements, the final step to changing to a Wolf Knight involves a Master Seal. You can find Master Seals in a number of places, including as drops in battle. They are also present in some treasure chests. While finding them can be hit or miss in the early game, you can purchase as many as you like for 2,500 gold once you reach Chapter 17.
And that’s all it takes to unlock the Wolf Knight. Planning to try this class out? Let us know in the comment section below!
