Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown returns to its roots with its basis in a fictional world. However, the planes used in Ace Combat 7 are real-world aircraft used by militaries across the globe. Each plane varies in purpose, velocity, and durability. These warplanes also have a wide variety of weapon systems available. Keep reading for our guide the best attacker planes in Ace Combat 7 here at Nerds and Scoundrels.
Ace Combat 7 Best Attacker Planes Ranked
Attacker planes are one of the three types of aircraft available in Ace Combat 7. The other types of planes are Multirole Aircraft and Fighter Aircraft. Generally speaking, fighters are designed to fight other aircraft, attackers are intended to strike ground targets, and multirole planes can do both. Attackers are slowers than the other two types of planes, but are generally the better armored of the three.
Every plane has six different statistics:
The Best Attacker Planes Ranked
There are only two types of attacker planes available in the game, so ranking them is pretty straightforward!
The Sukhoi Su-34 is a Russian twin-engine fighter-bomber. While the plane first flew in 1990, it was not introduced to the Russian Air Force until 2014. The Su-34 is the more maneuvrable of the two attacker planes. That makes it a stronger option for missions that require faster air objectives mixed in. The Su-34 offers self-forging fragments submissions, high-capacity air-to-air and four air-to-ground missiles. It’s not a bad option and excels in some areas.
The most recent version of the A-10 Warthog, the A-10C is a United States close air support craft that was first introduced in 2005. We love the A-10C due to the pure firepower it offers. While it is one of the slowest planes in the game, it is a must-have for its ability to frag anything on the ground. This plane offers an Unguided Bomb, rockets, and four air-to-ground missiles.
